Tighten service quality, ensure safety for tourists
With the advantage of being the southernmost land of the Fatherland, Ca Mau is always a tourist destination every holiday and Tet. This year, the locality expects the long holiday to create a boost for the tourism industry and promote the image of the homeland to domestic and foreign tourists.
According to records, tourist areas and attractions in the province have basically completed the preparation stage, ready to welcome guests.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province requests tourism business units to list prices and sell at listed prices; ensure food safety and hygiene; improve service quality. Localities proactively organize entertainment, shopping and experiential activities for tourists.

Mr. Ly Vy Trieu Duong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province - said that the department has requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct functional forces to regularly inspect service quality at accommodation establishments, passenger transport units, restaurants, shopping centers and entertainment venues.
Up to now, tourism service business establishments in the province have well implemented plans to serve tourists during holidays, ensuring safety at tourist areas, attractions and relics.
Many new products, expected strong growth
Mr. Nguyen Van Hon, owner of Hoang Hon tourist destination (Dat Mui commune), said that the unit is exploiting products such as forest-crossing tours, the program "Muicamau Beach Camping - Mui Ca Mau coastal camping", and also linking with major travel companies such as Vietravel, Saigontourist to welcome guests.

Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Duy Khanh, owner of Muoi Ngot community eco-tourism site (Da Bac commune), said that he has upgraded facilities, embellished the landscape, strengthened tour guides and focused on environmental sanitation and food safety.
Tourists can take a 16-seater car to the gate of the tourist destination, experience the vast melaleuca forest space, fresh air and activities associated with nature," Mr. Khanh shared.
Mr. Ngo Xuan Pha - Chairman of Bao Toan Automobile Joint Stock Company, investor of Nha Mat Tourist Area - said that the business has arranged reasonable personnel and tour guides to serve the expected increased number of customers during the holiday.

The highlight of this year's holiday is the Week of Science, Technology - Culture, Tourism and the 1st "Delicious Rice of the Mekong Delta Region" contest in 2026, taking place from April 24 to May 1 at Hung Vuong Square. The event is expected to attract a large number of people, businesses and tourists.
In 2026, Ca Mau sets a target of welcoming 8.5 million visitors, including 134,500 international visitors; total tourism revenue reaches 9,485 billion VND. The province continues to develop strong tourism products such as ecology, culture, community, sea and islands, associated with agriculture, aquaculture and traditional craft villages.
