According to the report of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, in November and 11 months of 2025, the city's economy continued to grow and achieved many positive results.
For the tourism industry alone, the total number of visitors and tourists in November 2025 is estimated at 583,000; the cumulative number is 10,568,000, reaching 96% of the plan, an increase of 20% over the same period.
Accordingly, the number of tourists staying in November 2025 is estimated at 236,000; the cumulative number is 4,697,575, reaching 96% of the plan, an increase of 27% over the same period.
Notably, total tourism revenue in November 2025 is estimated at VND620 billion, bringing the accumulated to VND9,290.5 billion, reaching 93% of the plan, up 20% over the same period.

In recent months, tourism activities in Can Tho City have continued to be maintained, organizing many programs and stimulus activities. Currently, the People's Committee of Can Tho City is busy preparing for the Can Tho River Culture Festival 2025 with the theme "Can Tho - Color of the River". According to the plan, the Festival will take place from December 26, 2025 to January 1, 2026 at Ben Ninh Kieu Park, Song Hau Park and neighboring areas.
According to the organizers, during the festival, many activities will be organized such as: opening program; art performances to serve visitors every night; photo exhibition "Living on the river - The old and present Western region"; decoration of models and miniatures; sailing racing, SUP boats.

At the regular meeting of the People's Committee of Can Tho City on November 5, 2025, Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Canh Tuyen City also requested units to coordinate in organizing the Can Tho River Culture Festival 2025.
According to Mr. Tuyen, if the Festival is effectively implemented, it will contribute to positioning the river tourism brand of Tay Do land; introducing and promoting the typical river culture of the Mekong Delta to domestic and foreign tourists; spreading the message of environmental protection, towards sustainable tourism development.
