The Management Board of Special National Monuments of Cao Bang province announced the temporary suspension of receiving visitors at some locations in the Special National Monument Site of the Border Victory in 1950 to serve the restoration and embellishment work.
Accordingly, from November 2, the relic sites of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and the Campaign Command House (located in Duc Long commune, Thach An district) will officially suspend receiving visitors. The reopening time will be announced after the construction is completed.
The announcement was made based on the decisions approving the project for restoration, prevention and restoration of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province.
In addition, the Relic Management Board also recommended that the construction unit at Bao Dong Mountain Relic Site must have a plan to ensure all safety conditions for visitors throughout the project implementation.
