Hanoi - Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024 opens from 9:00 a.m. on December 21 to 3:00 p.m. on December 22.

Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024 will take place at Gia Lam Airport, Long Bien District, Hanoi and last for 4 days from December 19 to December 22. This is the second time the Vietnam International Defence Expo has been held, the first time in 2022.

The event gathered more than 200 domestic and foreign units and enterprises from more than 30 countries in ASEAN, Asia, Europe and America. Among them were many military powers such as the US, China, Russia, UK, France, India, Israel...

The total exhibition area is more than 100,000 m2, with an indoor area of ​​15,000 m2 (twice as large as the event held in 2022), and an outdoor area of ​​about 20,000 m2.

The exhibition takes place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day.

December 19

9am-11am: Opening ceremony for VIPs and guests with special invitations only

11am-5pm: For professionals

December 20

9am-5pm: For professional guests

December 21

9am-5pm: For professionals and residents

December 22

9am-3pm: For professionals and residents

Notably, the new schedule for locals and tourists to visit is earlier than the old schedule from 1:30 p.m. on December 21 to 9 a.m. on the same day.

Visitors

Government leaders, leaders of local ministries and branches; forces and units under the Ministry of National Defense; international delegations; people, domestic and international tourists.

Exhibition location

Gia Lam Airport is located on a high ground between Highway 5 and the Red River embankment in Bo De Ward, Long Bien District, 3.5 km from the center of Hanoi. Residents and visitors can use private or public vehicles to get here.

Note

Visitors must bring ID card or passport. No smoking, pets, food or drinks in the exhibition area.
