From 12:00 on May 23 to 22:00 on May 24, 2025, Phuc Son Pagoda (Tan Yen District, Bac Giang Province) will be open all night to serve Buddhists, people and tourists from all over the world to worship and pay their respects to the Venerable Buddha Shishi Ca Mau Ni - National Treasure of India.
Previously, on the afternoon of May 20, a meeting was held at Phuc Son Pagoda to prepare for the pilgrimage and honor the Buddha's grace. The goal is to organize a solemn and respectful ceremony, showing respect for the Buddha's grace - the sacred symbol of global Buddhism.
When worshiping the Buddha, people and tourists should stay calm, dress solemnly and discreetly, and avoid wearing offensive or baggage. During the worship, it is necessary to maintain order, not jostle, not take casual photos.
The celebration of the Buddha's benefits is also an opportunity for Phuc Son Pagoda - an ancient pagoda over 400 years old - to demonstrate its role in preserving and spreading spiritual, cultural and historical values of Buddhism in Northern Vietnam.
Phuc Son Pagoda, also known as Phuc Son Pagoda, is located on Phuong Hoang mountain in Cao Xa commune, where there is a mountain in the shape of a flight-shaped phoenix spreading its wings, and the pagoda is located on the bird's back.
Built in 1680 under the Le Dynasty, Phuc Son Pagoda is a typical Buddhist cultural project of the ancient Kinh Bac region. During the resistance war against France and the US, the pagoda was a place for discussing plans for patrols, serving as a hospital and a shelter for soldiers and people. Despite many renovations, the pagoda still preserves many valuable Buddhist artifacts and documents. In 2009, Phuc Son Pagoda and Ngo Xa communal house were ranked as provincial-level historical and cultural relics.
