Quang Ninh organizes the Quang Ninh New Year 2026 Countdown program with the theme "Discipline - Empathy, Creating the Future" on the evening of December 31, 2025.
The event takes place from 9:30 PM on December 31, 2025 to 0:30 AM on January 1, 2026 at 30/10 Square, Ha Long ward, with a scale of about 50,000 people, is the largest cultural and tourism highlight of the province during the New Year.
The program lasts 180 minutes, including a series of music and art performances combined with lighting, laser, visual, and modern mapping performances, culminating in a high-altitude fireworks display during the transition period of 2025 - 2026.
Ha Long Ward People's Committee announces the organization of road bans and temporary traffic suspensions for vehicles (except for priority vehicles: ambulances, fire trucks and vehicles serving the New Year 2026 art program) on Tran Quoc Nghien street, the section from Ho Co Tien (adjacent to Hong Gai ward) to the intersection of Hai Phuong street, Ha Long ward.
