To serve the New Year 2026 Countdown program and New Year's fireworks display, Ha Long Ward People's Committee announced road bans and temporary suspension of traffic on some routes in the central area.
Specifically, Tran Quoc Nghien street section from Ho Co Tien (adjacent to Hong Gai ward) to Hai Phuong street intersection, Ha Long ward will prohibit all vehicles from 5:00 PM on December 31, 2025 to 1:00 AM on January 1, 2026, except for priority vehicles such as ambulances, fire trucks and vehicles serving the 2026 Countdown program.
To facilitate people and tourists to watch New Year's fireworks 2026, Ha Long ward arranges 6 parking spots with fees according to regulations, including:
Hai Long Street, gate section of Ha Long High School for the Gifted
Hong Hai Street, the gate section of Trong Diem New Secondary School
Hai Phuong Street, parking lot near Hong Hanh 2 restaurant
Ton That Thuyet street, section near Manh Hoach chicken restaurant
Cultural House yard area 2A, 2B, next to Ho Co Tien wedding party area
Hai Ha street ditch road, Ha Long ward
People and tourists proactively choose parking lots, limit moving into restricted road areas during the 2026 Countdown and New Year fireworks display, and comply with the instructions of functional forces to ensure safety and traffic order.
