Dak Lak - Ea Kao Ward People's Committee requests to terminate spontaneous business activities at Ea Kao Lake to ensure order, safety and aesthetics.

On June 17, the People's Committee of Ea Kao ward (Dak Lak province) said that it had issued a notice to strengthen the management of activities in the Ea Kao lake area to ensure order, safety and build a civilized tourism environment.

According to the People's Committee of Ea Kao ward, in the past time, Ea Kao Lake has attracted a large number of people and tourists to visit and play, contributing to promoting the local image. However, along with the increase in the number of visitors, some arising activities have not been organized and managed according to regulations.

Many households spontaneously do business and provide services without permission from competent authorities. Some issues related to environmental sanitation, food safety, and irrigation works safety also arise.

In addition, the situation of cars and motorbikes stopping and parking on the dam bank road causes traffic congestion, affecting security and order and the landscape of the area.

To improve the efficiency of State management, ensure that business and service activities take place in accordance with regulations, and gradually build Ea Kao into a "peaceful, civilized, meaningful, and unique" destination, the Ward People's Committee requests organizations and individuals to terminate spontaneous business and service activities in the Ea Kao lake area from June 20, 2026.

In the process of researching and building the pedestrian street, the locality will consider planning and arranging suitable business and service locations to meet the needs of people and tourists in a methodical and civilized direction.

The locality also encourages maintaining the "Ea Kao 5 PM Du ca" activity by Ea Kao Lake on weekends in a non-profit form to serve people and tourists.

People and tourists when visiting and playing are requested to maintain environmental sanitation, protect the landscape; park and park vehicles in the right places, without causing obstruction or traffic jams.
