The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition officially welcomed visitors from 9am on December 21, but before 7am, many people had gathered in line. The organizers informed that by 10am this morning, the exhibition had recorded nearly 100,000 registrations.Visitors are reminded to dress appropriately and not to bring food or drinks into the exhibition area.
According to Lao Dong, the authorities guided people to line up to visit the exhibition, ensuring security. Many families brought their children to the exhibition. However, the organizers do not encourage children under 10 years old to visit. Parents should remind their children not to touch the equipment and weapons on display.
Veterans, the elderly, children... are given priority when lining up. Major Tran Truong Ha (81 years old) from Thai Nguyen City said he had been looking forward to visiting the defense exhibition for a long time. "I was very excited to come to the exhibition. For the past few days, I have been watching the news and newspapers about the military exhibition every day. It is not easy for countries like the US, Russia, China, and Israel to bring weapons and military equipment to our country," Mr. Ha said proudly. This veteran worked in the Central Highlands battlefield from 1964 to 1974, so he understands the sacrifices and losses of his comrades and compatriots.At around 9am, thousands of people stood at the entrance to the exhibition, but still maintained order. Nguyen Van Huan, a visitor from Luc Nam district (Bac Giang), and his wife left home at 5am, traveling more than 80km to Hanoi to see the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition. “This is the first time I have visited a military exhibition. I want to admire the weapons produced in Vietnam and some weapons brought to the exhibition by other countries,” said Mr. Huan.At the exhibition, areas displaying weapons, equipment, and modern combat vehicles such as tanks, armored vehicles, transport aircraft, suicide UAVs, etc. attracted many visitors.TP-150, Vietnam's first primary training aircraft, attracts attention at the outdoor exhibition area.The SP73-VT launcher is on display. The launcher will fix the missile, aiming at the target. The launcher can supply power, provide missile preparation signals and automatically execute the missile launch command according to the remote control signal.In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to experience many types of guns such as AK, pistols, submachine guns... in the simulation room in the indoor exhibition area.
