On December 19, at Gia Lam Airport (Long Bien District, Hanoi), the Vietnam International Defense Expo 2024 was solemnly opened. The exhibition lasts for 4 days from December 19 to 22.
People and tourists can visit from 9:00 a.m. on December 21 to 5:00 p.m. on December 22.
People and visitors to the exhibition can enter through 2 gates as follows:
- Entrance gate number 1 is on Nguyen Son street, behind the entrance gate will be the parking lot. People are encouraged to use this gate for convenient parking.
- Entrance gate number 2 is located at Long Bien golf course.
If taking the bus, people choose routes with stops near the exhibition including 69, 100 and E10. The nearest bus stations: Hoang Nhu Tiep Park or Aviation Medical Center.
Visitors and locals can navigate by following the exhibition's coordinates on Google Maps: 21°02'51.5"N 105°53'30.0"E.
If you are driving your own vehicle, please go through the gate on Nguyen Son Street to enter the motorbike and car parking area. We recommend using public transport, taxis, motorbike taxis, etc. to avoid overcrowding.
To visit the exhibition, visitors should bring their ID card or passport. It is recommended to register online in advance to avoid long queues.
In addition, you need to dress formally and politely, do not wear slippers, flip-flops and shorts, do not smoke or bring pets or food into the exhibition area.
The exhibition displays many modern weapons and equipment, and brings authentic experiences. Visitors have the opportunity to experience shooting many types of guns such as AK, pistols, submachine guns in the simulation room at the booth of Viettel Military Industry - Telecommunications Group. Besides, there are 3D mapping models, virtual reality glasses, modern hologram photography technology...
This exhibition is held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).
At the event, there were more than 200 domestic and foreign units and enterprises from more than 30 countries in ASEAN, Asia, Europe and America participating such as the US, China, Russia, UK, France, India, Israel...
The exhibition also displays 69 types of weapons and equipment researched, developed and produced by the Vietnam People's Army from 2022 to present.
