Phu Day Festival associated with the legend of Saint Mother Lieu Hanh has spread throughout regions, has become a typical spiritual tourism cultural product of the former Nam Dinh province (now Ninh Binh province), and has been included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Phu Day Festival 2026 is held at Phu Day Relic Complex, Vu Ban commune, Ninh Binh province with many unique cultural activities such as: Chau Van singing art festival, tug-of-war folk games, stick pushing, duck catching, human chess competitions, scripture procession, torch procession and traditional rituals imbued with Mother Goddess worshiping cultural and religious identity.


The festival is expected to take place from April 19 to 24 (ie, from the 3rd to the 8th day of the 3rd year of Binh Ngo). In which, on the morning of April 21, the palanquin procession from Van Cat Palace to Bang Pagoda (Linh Son Pagoda). On the same evening, the torch procession from Tien Huong Palace. The dragon torch procession is one of the unique rituals in the Phu Day Festival.
Following that, on April 23 and 24, at Van Cat Palace and Tien Huong Palace, a calligraphy pulling activity took place with calligraphy sets with spiritual meanings such as Mau nghi thien ha and Quoc thai dan an, attracting the attention of a large number of people and tourists.
Phu Day architectural and artistic relic in Vu Ban commune, Ninh Binh province is a complex with more than 20 unique architectural works, including 3 works associated with Saint Mother Lieu Hanh, which are Tien Huong Palace, Van Cat Palace and Lieu Hanh Mausoleum. The Phu Day architectural relic complex has high artistic value, associated with the worship of Saint Mother Lieu Hanh, and was ranked as a national relic in 1975.
