On April 22, Chairman of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee Tran Xuan Tay just directed and requested departments, agencies, and units to urgently and synchronously implement many key tasks in April and May 2026.
Leaders of Nha Trang ward assigned the ward's Public Service and Care Center to preside over and coordinate to dissect in detail the cost estimate packages for maintaining environmental sanitation, caring for the green tree system, lawns and maintaining and repairing technical infrastructure along Tran Phu beach.
Items include sidewalks, lighting and public utilities. After the estimate is approved in accordance with regulations, units must urgently deploy construction, prioritizing key areas, check-in points and access to the sea.
According to the request of the Ward People's Committee, all ground and landscape infrastructure renovation work must be completed before May 15, 2026, in order to be ready to welcome a large number of tourists during the peak season.
Along with that, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department is assigned to accelerate the appraisal of technical plans, ensuring that the construction process does not affect traffic and people's lives.
At the same time, this unit must advise on handling parking lots along the sea park, reporting before April 24, 2026.
In addition, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department presides over and coordinates with the Ward Project Management Board to survey the current status of the sports gymnasium and Yen Phi park to propose a new construction plan before April 23, 2026.
The repair and construction of Bich Dam communal house is also required to accelerate progress, ensuring that it does not affect people's religious activities, and report progress before April 24, 2026.
Notably, the Ward People's Committee requested to complete and submit for approval the Economic Project on the night before April 24, 2026, which integrates the content of managing illegal seating activities on the beach.
This is expected to be a solution to create more tourism products, diversifying experiences for tourists when coming to Nha Trang at night.
With drastic direction and urgent implementation progress, Nha Trang ward is aiming to build an image of a civilized, friendly destination, ready to serve tourists in the summer of 2026.
