Focus on renovating the Dien Bien Phu battlefield relic

Dien Bien - Officials, workers and many soldiers have just renovated and improved the landscape of historical sites.

Accordingly, on April 18-19, officials and employees of the Dien Bien Provincial Relic Management Board coordinated with soldiers of Regiment 741 - Provincial Military Command to implement environmental landscape improvement, clean up, prune ornamental plants, care for flower gardens, collect and treat waste.

Renovation activities are concentrated at relic sites belonging to the National Special Historical Relic of the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield such as: Hill A1, Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument (D1 Hill), Him Lam Resistance Center, De Cat Tunnel and Martyrs' Temple at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield...

This is a very meaningful activity showing the spirit and responsibility of the armed forces in participating in protecting the environment of the historical relic site, both educational and raising the responsibility for officers and soldiers of Regiment 741 in protecting and preserving the revolutionary achievements of their fathers and grandfathers.

Dien Bien province is expected to welcome a large number of tourists to visit and commemorate a series of major holidays of the country such as: Hung Kings Commemoration Day (March 10th of the lunar calendar); Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30th); International Labor Day (May 1st); Dien Bien Phu Victory Day (May 7th) and President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19th).
