Recorded on the morning of August 30, the Lao Cai International Border Gate area had quite a lot of people gathering to complete entry and exit procedures.
Control areas, waiting houses and entrances to the border gate are constantly crowded with people passing by, creating a bustling atmosphere in the border area.
Many people carry luggage and suitcases, moving through border gates to go to China for tourism, visit relatives or carry out trade activities.
In the opposite direction, Chinese tourists and citizens also complete entry procedures into Vietnam.
According to data from Lao Cai Ward People's Committee, on August 30, Lao Cai International Border Gate recorded a total of 16,821 people entering and leaving the country with passports and travel permits.

Of which, there were 855 arrivals with passports and 3,148 departures with passports. With passports, the number of arrivals reached 5,908 and departures 6,910.
Notably, Vietnamese citizens account for the majority of people entering and leaving the country with passports, with 5,476 entry and 6,469 exits.
Talking to reporters, a representative of the People's Committee of Lao Cai ward said that the border gate area is one of the points with a large number of people passing through, especially during holidays and peak tourist seasons.
Local authorities coordinate with functional forces to monitor the situation, ensure security and order, environmental sanitation and create favorable conditions for people and tourists.
