Exploiting the unique advantages of Ta Phin highlands
In the last days of August, according to reporters' records, Ta Phin commune still retains the unique beauty of the highlands with mountains and forests, villages and culturally identity living spaces.
Tourists have come to the locality to visit, experience and relax, but tourism activities are still not commensurate with the potential.
After the merger of Ta Phin and Trung Chai communes, the development space of the locality was expanded.
This is also a condition for Ta Phin to recalculate tourism development directions, gradually forming unique products instead of just exploiting landscapes.
According to Mr. Thao A Sinh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ta Phin commune, the locality has many advantages to develop tourism, including natural landscapes, Ta Phin rock area and unique cultural values of the Dao people.
Notably, Ta Phin is also known as a medicinal material production area, a place that preserves the medicinal leaf bathing profession of the Red Dao people. These are advantages that can be combined to develop experiential tourism, resorts and health care.
Tourism development has been identified as one of the breakthroughs of Ta Phin commune in the 2025 - 2030 term," said Mr. Thao A Sinh.
According to commune leaders, the locality is aiming to attract capable businesses and investors to participate in tourism, service and resort development.
Along with that is gradually completing the general plan, identifying development space suitable to actual conditions.
Ta Phin expects that when projects are implemented and tourism infrastructure is improved, the locality will have more products to retain tourists, while creating jobs and increasing income for people.
Removing bottlenecks, creating room for tourism development
Leaders of Ta Phin commune believe that one of the important factors for tourism development is to soon complete infrastructure and remove obstacles in the project implementation process.
Currently, the locality is coordinating with businesses and people to solve issues related to land, ground and planning.
Some dossiers and land areas between documents and the current status are not yet consistent, and need to be reviewed and adjusted according to regulations.
Instead of just relying on a specific project, Ta Phin determined that it is necessary to create a favorable environment to attract many suitable investors, especially businesses with the ability to develop tourism products associated with local strengths.
We expect the province and departments and branches to continue to pay attention and create conditions to attract potential investors to Ta Phin, thereby increasing revenue and income for people," said Mr. Thao A Sinh.
Ms. Ha Thi Huong (Hanoi tourist) assessed that Ta Phin has beautiful scenery, peaceful space and unique Red Dao culture. Compared to the crowded tourist destinations in Sa Pa, this place still retains its rusticness and closeness to nature.
What I like about Ta Phin is that the landscape is still quite natural, and the local culture is clear. If more tourism products are invested but still retain its identity, Ta Phin will have its own attraction," Ms. Huong commented.
According to the development orientation of Sa Pa National Tourist Area, Ta Phin is located in the tourism development space of the region.
Currently, Ta Phin is gradually shaping the direction of tourism development, exploiting the advantages of landscape, Red Dao culture and medicinal herbs.
The locality expects that the completion of infrastructure, investment attraction and construction of more experiential products will create new attraction, making tourism a driving force for economic development, and increasing income for people.
