On the morning of April 18, Cua Lo ward organized to clear the "bottleneck" at the intersection between Binh Minh street and Nguyen Xi street. Attending were Mr. Ngo Duc Kien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Council; Mr. Cao Minh Tu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, along with representatives of relevant units and Mr. Nguyen Hong Luu's family.
The bottleneck lies on a section of less than 50m long belonging to the Binh Minh road upgrade and expansion project. Due to difficulties in site clearance, this location has been prolonged for many years, causing urban unsightliness and potential risks of traffic unsafety, especially during the tourist season.
Faced with the above situation, at the beginning of April 2026, ward leaders directly dialogued with Mr. Nguyen Hong Luu's family to remove obstacles. By doing it flexibly, focusing on dialogue and explanation based on reason and logic, the family agreed to hand over the land for the common good.
According to the People's Committee of Cua Lo ward, after completing the clearance, the locality will hand over the site to the construction unit, accelerate the project completion progress, contribute to urban embellishment, ensure traffic safety and promote socio-economic development in the area.
