Short video contest to promote Vietnam tourism attracts millions of views

On October 17, after three months of taking place, the YouTube Shorts travel video creation contest "Vietnam: Go to Love!" ended with convincing victories.

The contest with the message "Go to chill, feel to love" organized by the Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) in collaboration with YouTube and MCV Group.

The contest attracted hundreds of contestants from creators, young people and tourists across the country, reaching millions of views and interactions on digital platforms. This is considered a highlight in the strategy of promoting Vietnam tourism in the direction of digitalization and modernization.

The organizing committee awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, 3 Encouragement Prizes and souvenirs to the Top 20 outstanding works. The winning videos are introduced on the official YouTube channel of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, contributing to spreading the image of the country's tourism to the public.

A representative of Quy Nhon Tourist channel - the first prize winning unit shared: "The contest is an opportunity for us to express our love for our homeland through our own perspective. Each trip, each frame is a story about the people and culture of Vietnam. We believe that short videos are a powerful tool to tell stories and inspire travel to international friends.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Hoa, Director of the Tourism Information Center, said: "The success of the contest is a testament to the right direction in digital transformation of the tourism industry, taking advantage of online platforms to promote the image of Vietnam to be more vibrant and closer to domestic and foreign tourists".

Ms. Mukpim Anantachai, Director of YouTube Partnership Vietnam and Thailand, emphasized: The winning videos have captured the spirit of Go to Love!, showing the creativity and passion of Vietnamese content creators in turning personal journeys into global inspiration.

MCV Group representative, Ms. Do Thi Duyen, shared: Accompanying the contest, we hope to bring the image of Vietnam closer to the public by being creative and approachable. This is an opportunity to connect the community and affirm the spreading power of the young creative generation.

The contest "Vietnam: Go to Love!" has affirmed the appeal of short videos in tourism media, opening a new approach for the Vietnamese tourism industry - where each individual can become an inspirational ambassador, contributing to making Vietnam increasingly shine on the international tourism map.
