Panhou Retreat Resort has officially won the award in the Asia's Leading Green Resort - Asia's Leading Green Resort 2025 category at the awards ceremony in Hong Kong (China) on the evening of October 13 (local time).
This is not only a recognition for a pioneering unit but also a proud milestone, affirming the right direction of sustainable tourism in Vietnam in the international arena.
Mr. David Le - representative of Panhou Retreat said: "This award is not only a recognition of more than 20 years of perseverance in pursuing a tourism path associated with ecological conservation, respect for nature and traditional culture, but also a source of inspiration for us to continue to be steadfast in the journey of sustainable tourism development. We respect and are grateful to the local community of Hoang Su Phi and those who have long accompanied us to spread good messages and help us achieve this success.

This prestigious award is the crystallization of a journey to pursue a business philosophy associated with ecological conservation, respect for nature and promoting indigenous cultural values.
During the operation, the 3R philosophy (Reduction - Reuse - Recycling) is thoroughly applied. The resort has completely eliminated disposable plastic and replaced it with reusable items such as glass bottles, bamboo and wood items.
To save energy, solar power systems and sensing lights are installed, both ensuring convenience for visitors and minimizing environmental impact.
The core point that creates the success of this model is the deep connection with the local community. More than 95% of the staff working here are of the Red Dao ethnic group and other ethnic groups in the area. Instead of just creating jobs, the resort focuses on training and empowering.
Workers are not only equipped with professional skills in hotel operations and foreign languages, but also have received proper training in green operating processes such as waste classification and environmental protection. This helps them have a stable job, increase their income and become "ambassador"s" of sustainable tourism.

With a commitment to sharing benefits with the locality, the "Sustainable Development Fund" was established with an initial capital of 200 million VND, drawn directly from revenue per accommodation visitor.
The fund operates with four main goals: supporting local economic models, vocational training for people, planting trees to protect primeval forests and financing waste collection projects. Every tourist who comes here becomes a part of the sustainable development journey for the locality.
In addition to the 2025 Asia Green Resort Award, the Tuyen Quang tourism industry also achieved success at the WTA with the title of "Asia's Leading Regional Cultural Destination 2025" awarded to the UNESCO Global Geopark of Dong Van Stone Plateau.
The harmonious combination of beautiful nature, unique cultural identity, friendly people and increasingly professional services, along with the orientation of sustainable tourism development, has contributed to creating a unique mark for Tuyen Quang tourism.
Tuyen Quang's double at the prestigious award known as the " Oscars of the tourism industry" further affirms the position of this destination on the international tourism map.
