Lao Dong recorded that on January 3rd, compared to the first two days of the holiday, it was quite smooth, and the number of tourists flocking to Da Lat on the 3rd day increased significantly.
At many times, streets in the city center experienced slight congestion due to the high traffic density.
These days, Da Lat is brilliant with flower colors with many beautifully decorated miniature landscapes to welcome visitors from all directions.
Beautiful sunny weather and cool air make famous tourist areas such as Da Lat Flower Garden, Datanla Waterfall Tourist Area, Valley of Love, Sculpture Tunnel, Da Lat Station, city center... always bustling with visitors.
Ms. Phan Thi Nhan, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said that taking advantage of the 2026 New Year holiday, she and a group of 12 friends traveled by motorbike to Da Lat to enjoy the fresh air and stroll the streets to see blooming cherry blossoms.
This year, cherry blossoms bloom early, the weather in Da Lat is very ideal, room rates have only increased slightly, so our group chose to stay for three more days to have more time to have fun and relax. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, we planned to visit Bao Loc to take pictures of golden flamboyant flowers blooming," Ms. Nhan shared.
The tourism industry of Lam Dong province recorded that the number of visitors to Da Lat during the 2026 New Year holiday is gradually increasing day by day. This is a positive sign for the tourism industry of Da Lat in particular and Lam Dong in general, in the context that the locality is recovering from the impact of natural disasters and landslides at the end of November and early December 2025.
From the first holiday of the new year, Da Lat is preparing good conditions to serve tourists in the coming time, especially during the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026.
