According to Lao Dong reporters' records, during the New Year holiday, the number of tourists at tourist attractions in Nha Trang such as the special national relic Ba Po Nagar Tower, Long Son Pagoda, Nha Trang Cathedral, Truong Son Craft Village... increased compared to normal days but there has been no overload.
Notably, tourists are mainly international tourists from Korea, China, Russia... Meanwhile, domestic tourists are not many, mostly going in small groups or families, choosing to visit combined with resorts and spring travel at the beginning of the year.
Ms. Tran Thi Tra (Dak Lak) said that her family chose Nha Trang because of convenient transportation and quiet space. "At the beginning of the year, going to pagodas and visiting relics brings a feeling of lightness and relaxation," Ms. Tra added.
At many tourist attractions, the work of welcoming tourists is carefully prepared, from ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation to arranging guiding forces.
In the first two days of the holiday, Ba Po Nagar Tower welcomed more than 10,000 visitors. The Management Board strengthens tour guides, coordinates to maintain order and environmental sanitation, creating favorable conditions for tourists to visit.
At the same time, the special national relic Po Klong Garai Tower welcomed 1,726 visitors, equivalent to the same period last year. On January 2 alone, there were 941 visitors, an increase of more than 150 visitors compared to the first day of the holiday.
