On the morning of February 17 (ie, the 1st day of the Binh Ngo Tet), the spring atmosphere filled Da Nang International Airport with the bustling drums, the jubilant lion dance and the lucky red color of lucky money envelopes at the beginning of the year.
Flight FD634 from Bangkok (Thailand) with more than 200 tourists visiting and relaxing in the city in the first days of the new year.

At the International Arrival Terminal, representatives of the Da Nang City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and units: Da Nang International Airport Border Gate Police, Da Nang International Airport Border Gate Customs, Central Airport Authority, Da Nang International Airport and Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company presented flowers, souvenirs and service experience vouchers to 5 lucky passengers on the flight.
All passengers on the flight participated in picking lucky buds at the beginning of Spring, receiving gifts imbued with Vietnamese Tet flavors such as conical hats, lanterns, coffee, coconut cakes and travel publications.
The New Year's welcoming activity contributes to creating a friendly and warm impression right from the airport gateway, and at the same time spreading the image of dynamic and hospitable Da Nang to international friends.

In the city center, the space at the Park on the South bank of the Dragon Bridge, opposite the Cham Sculpture Museum (Hai Chau ward) is filled with spring colors with a series of activities to welcome and experience Tet for tourist groups coming to Da Nang. The program is organized sôi nổi with lively lion and dragon dance performances, creating a joyful and bustling atmosphere right from the first hours of the new year.
Tourists are given souvenirs, lucky money at the beginning of spring, participate in New Year's lucky picking activities and check-in on colorful flower streets in the heart of the city.
In addition, many traditional Tet cultural experience activities bring tourists authentic feelings about the customs and habits of the Vietnamese Spring, contributing to spreading the unique cultural values of Da Nang to friends at home and abroad.
The program welcomed more than 300 domestic and international tourists from travel companies and a large number of free tourists, creating a warm, friendly and impressive Spring atmosphere.
