Da Nang approves the Industrial Promotion and Development Program for souvenir production serving tourism in the period 2026-2030.

On February 9, according to information from Da Nang City People's Committee, the City People's Committee issued Decision No. 588/QD-UBND approving the Industrial Promotion and Development Program for souvenir production serving tourism in the city in the period 2026-2030.

According to the program, in the period 2026-2030, Da Nang aims to build 10-15 technical demonstration models to disseminate new technologies, produce new products; support the application of advanced machinery and equipment for 200-240 turns of rural industrial establishments (CNNT). The city also deploys a cleaner production model at 30-35 establishments and supports the assessment of cleaner production for about 25-30 units.

In addition, Da Nang will organize 2-3 rounds of voting for typical industrial and handicraft products at the city level; support 30-40 establishments to build and register trademarks; organize 10-15 fairs and exhibitions of industrial and handicraft goods; bring 30-35 business delegations to participate in domestic fairs and 2-5 delegations to participate in fairs and exhibitions abroad.

The program also focuses on supporting detailed planning for 5-10 industrial clusters; supporting CNNT facilities to invest in technology and environmental treatment machinery; training business start-ups, business administration, and improving skills for hundreds of workers; promoting digital transformation, communication and trade promotion for CNNT products and tourism souvenirs.

The total cost of implementing the program is more than 183 billion VND, of which the national industrial promotion budget is expected to be 12.6 billion VND; local industrial promotion is more than 78 billion VND and more than 92 billion VND mobilized from beneficiary units.
