According to the plan, the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center in coordination with relevant units will organize a program to welcome cruise tourists at Tien Sa Port on the morning of the 3rd day of Tet (February 19, 2026). The international cruise ship Seabourn Encore operated by a travel business is expected to bring about 1,100 guests and crew members to the port. As soon as the ship docks, tourists will be welcomed by activities imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity such as lion dances, ao dai performances, enjoying Vietnamese coffee, giving flowers and souvenirs to the first guests.

Besides the sea route, the city also focuses on creating a highlight for international visitors to Da Nang by air on the first day of the new year. On the morning of the 1st day of Tet (February 17, 2026), the program "Welcoming visitors to Da Nang city for the first day of Tet Binh Ngo 2026" was held at the International Arrival Terminal, Da Nang International Airport, welcoming flight FD634 from Bangkok (Thailand) operated by Thai AirAsia. Tourists on the flight will receive flowers, souvenirs, travel publications, participate in lion dance - drum festival activities and check-in at the Tet space.

On the same day, in the landscape area south of the west bank of the Dragon Bridge, the city organized traditional cultural experience activities for tourists such as bamboo dancing, making jam, enjoying tea, grilling sweet potatoes, cassava and picking spring buds. This is considered a highlight to help tourists feel the Vietnamese Tet atmosphere right in the city center.

The series of activities to welcome international tourists during the Binh Ngo Tet 2026 not only creates a joyful and impressive atmosphere for tourists in the first days of the new year, but also demonstrates Da Nang's proactive and professional preparation in the strategy of restoring and developing sustainable tourism.

Thereby, contributing to spreading the image of a dynamic and friendly tourist city, ready for a new year of development with many breakthrough expectations.
