On June 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city said that it has coordinated with Vietravel Tourism Joint Stock Company to welcome a MICE delegation with a scale of about 5,000 visitors to visit, stay and participate in activities in the city in 2026.
This is one of the largest MICE delegations to Da Nang in 2026, contributing to further affirming the city's professional MICE event and tourism organization capacity, while enhancing Da Nang's position as a leading destination in the Central region and Vietnam.
Accordingly, from June 1st to 3rd, Da Nang welcomed 5,000 MICE guests belonging to WinCommerce General Trading Service Joint Stock Company.
The delegation is operated by Vietravel Tourism Joint Stock Company and has many conference, sightseeing, tourism experience, resort, culinary and exchange programs at many interesting destinations in Da Nang city.
With the large scale of the delegation, Da Nang City Police actively coordinated to support the work of ensuring security and order, traffic diversion and regulation in areas where the delegation moved, stayed and organized events, contributing to helping the program take place safely, smoothly and effectively.
In addition, the Da Nang City Department of Construction has coordinated to implement traffic support plans, guide travel routes, create favorable conditions for transportation and organize activities to serve tourist groups throughout their stay in the city; the Da Nang railway transport branch has supported the work of welcoming and seeing off tourist groups at Da Nang Station, ensuring safe, convenient and orderly movement and pick-up and drop-off in the station area.
In parallel with promoting the attraction of large-scale tourist groups, Da Nang is also constantly perfecting MICE tourism development policies in a professional and sustainable direction.
The city's MICE tourist attraction promotion program, implemented since 2021, has brought many positive results and will continue to be upgraded in 2026 with the theme "Da Nang - Elevating the MICE tourism experience", expanding support policies for businesses and domestic and international tourist groups.
In particular, for the first time, Da Nang tourism industry announced the "MICE - The Rising Wave" award to honor businesses with outstanding contributions in attracting MICE tourists in 2025.
In the first 5 months of 2026, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized to welcome 21 MICE tourist groups with nearly 9,147 visitors.
The continuous reception of large-scale MICE tourist groups is a positive sign for Da Nang's tourism industry, contributing to stimulating market demand, increasing service revenue and spreading the image of a dynamic, friendly, professional and attractive city to domestic and international tourists.
