From November 2-7, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City in coordination with Vietjet Air and Sun Group will organize a program to welcome the Taiwanese famtrip group (China) to visit and survey tourism products and services in Da Nang.

The group consisted of 21 representatives from Taiwanese (Chinese) travel companies. During the 6 days of the survey, the group visited and experienced many famous destinations such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Da Nang Museum, Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot and participated in resort and experience activities at Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa, Trinh Cafe, enjoyed the art programs " Charming Show" and "After Glow".
The delegation also surveyed the high-end accommodation system including Wyndham Danang Golden Bay, Mercure French Village, Novotel Danang Premier Han River, Shilla Monogram Danang, Crowne Plaza Da Nang, while enjoying special cuisine at restaurants and hotels such as Ngon Thi Hoa, All Seasons Buffet, DLG Hotel Danang, exploring the beauty and vibrant atmosphere of Da Nang night tourism.
Within the framework of the famtrip group program, on the evening of November 6, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang organized the Gala Dinner Program - Connecting the Taiwanese famtrip group (China) at Wink Hotel Danang Riverside.
The event was attended by representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, representatives of Vietjet Air, Da Nang tourism businesses, and all members of the famtrip delegation, to enhance exchanges, connections and expand cooperation in the Taiwanese (Chinese) tourist market in the coming time.
With the advantage of the city with the largest area in the country after being expanded in administrative boundaries, Da Nang now owns a nearly 217 km coastline and a rich tourism resource system.
Notable are the World Cultural Heritage Sites including Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Temple of Literature, Ma Nhai Ngu Hanh Son and Cu Lao Cham World Biosphere Reserve; many natural attractions, traditional craft villages, long-standing historical - cultural relics, and modern tourism infrastructure with more than 2,311 accommodation facilities (including nearly 150 international 4-5 star hotels).
High-class golf courses and a network of convenient flights, rich and unique cuisine, luxurious and classy entertainment, shopping opportunities, along with unique local experience products and check-in destinations to attract young people.
All of these create an important foundation for Da Nang to develop diverse tourism products, meeting new experience trends of tourists in general and products loved by tourists from Taiwan (China) in particular.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, in the first 10 months of 2025, guests served by accommodation establishments are estimated to reach more than 15.4 million, an increase of more than 20% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 6.3 million, an increase of more than 25%; domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 9.1 million, an increase of more than 16%.
In particular, the Taiwanese market (China) currently ranks second in the structure of international visitors to Da Nang, accounting for 7.45% of the total number of international visitors.
There are currently two regular flights from Taipei and Kaohsiung with a frequency of 29 flights/week operated by EVA Air, Starlux Airlines, China Airlines and Tiger Taiwan, along with 2-3 charter flights/week from Taipei and Taiwan operated by Vietjet Air and Bamboo Airways.
