KOL Malaysia spreads the fire of Da Nang tourism on international social networks

Da Nang welcomes the famous Malaysian KOL group to experience and spread the image of a dynamic, hospitable coastal city on international social networking platforms.

On October 24, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center said it had coordinated with Visit Indochina Co., Ltd. and lovely Vacation Company (Malaysia) to organize a famtrip program to welcome a famous KOLs group from Malaysia, from Pong Entertainment Company, to visit, experience and promote the image of Da Nang tourism to international friends.

The group of 15 members are artists, travel bloggers and content creators who have great influence on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Facebook... This is an opportunity to spread vivid experiences, realistic images and new emotions about Da Nang - a dynamic, friendly and creative destination.

For 5 days and 4 nights, the group fully experienced the colorful beauty of Da Nang - a place in harmony between nature, culture and people. From the spectacular scenery on the top of Ba Na with the world-famous Golden Bridge, to the traditional cultural mark at Ngu Hanh Son, Non Nuoc Stone Village, or the contemporary art space at APEC Park, each stop brings a new perspective on the youthful and creative coastal city.

The delegation also recorded vibrant moments along the Han River, Dragon Bridge, Son Tra Night Market, enjoying typical Central region cuisine such as Quang noodles, banh xeo, nem loi, beef with la bai, fresh seafood.

In addition, members can also immerse themselves in the ancient beauty of Hoi An ancient town, participate in cooking classes, row boats and enjoy the live show "Hoi An Memories", vividly recreating the history and culture of ancient ports.

Da Nang really surprised us a city that is both dynamic and modern, peaceful and hospitable. From the spectacular scenery on the top of Ba Na, to the moments of walking along the Han River or immersing yourself in the ancient atmosphere of Hoi An, everything is very memorable.

The program to welcome the KOLs Malaysia delegation is a key activity in the strategy to promote Da Nang tourism to the Malaysian market and Southeast Asia in the period of 2025 - 2026, contributing to enhancing the image of the destination on international media platforms, while expanding regional promotion and communication cooperation.

In particular, in the coming time, Da Nang will issue a Program to attract KOLs/KOCs to experience and promote city tourism, in order to effectively exploit the trend of digital tourism and communication, spreading the image of Da Nang to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

Welcoming the KOLs Malaysia delegation this time is a specific first step, contributing to realizing that orientation, creating a foundation for building an international KOL/KOC network to accompany Da Nang in the work of promoting and advertising destinations in the new period.

In the first 9 months of 2025, the city's tourism industry achieved many impressive results with more than 14.4 million visitors, an increase of more than 22% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors reached 5.8 million, an increase of more than 31%.

The Malaysian market continues to maintain a stable growth rate, in the top 10 international markets to Da Nang with 174,900 visitors.

Currently, there are 42 flights per day on the Kuala Lumpur - Da Nang route operated by AirAsia, Batik Air, Malaysia Airlines and Vietjet Air; of which, Vietjet Air will officially open this route from October 26, 2025. The Malaysian market is expected to continue to grow strongly in the coming time.
