Da Nang - The Philippine KOLs delegation experienced many destinations, culture and cuisine, contributing to spreading the city's image to the international market.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City has just coordinated with AirAsia Airlines to welcome a delegation of KOLs/Content Creators from Manila (Philippines) to visit, experience and create content in Da Nang. The activity takes place after Da Nang inaugurated the Manila - Da Nang direct flight route, contributing to increasing connectivity, promoting destinations to the Philippine market and spreading the message "Da Nang - Touching the original".

The group includes 14 KOLs/Content Creators who have influence on TikTok, Instagram, along with the production team and AirAsia representatives. The journey is designed according to 5 "touch points": Identity - Silence - Originality - Moment - Taste, taking members to explore destinations from culture, nature to cuisine.

In "Touching Identity", the delegation experienced the local rhythm of life through Han Market, Da Nang Cathedral, cyclo, Vietnamese coffee; and also visited My Son, Hoi An ancient town and craft villages such as Thanh Ha, Tra Que. "Touching Silence" opens up a peaceful space at Linh Ung Pagoda - Son Tra peninsula, Hoai River and Hoi An.

With "Touching the Original", the delegation explored Son Tra peninsula, rowed basket boats in Bay Mau coconut forest. "Touching Moments" marked experiences at Sun World Ba Na Hills, Golden Bridge, Son Tra night market, Fire-cracking Dragon Bridge, and art programs such as Ao Dai Show, The Heritage Show, Hoi An Memories.

The journey concluded with "Touching the Taste" through a series of culinary experiences at many restaurants, resorts and cooking classes, contributing to promoting the quintessence of local cuisine. The delegation stayed at large hotels and resorts and participated in many unique experiential activities with the companionship of travel agencies.

Sharing about the trip, KOL Yael Arevalo said he was impressed with the meticulous and diverse itinerary, especially the indigenous-like experience, from people to culture and cuisine.

Through the program, KOLs will spread experiences on digital platforms, contributing to promoting the dynamic and unique image of Da Nang to Filipino and regional tourists.

In 2025, the Philippine market recorded positive growth, the city welcomed more than 165,000 visitors, an increase of 2.5 times compared to the previous year; in the first 2 months of 2026, it reached more than 46,000 visitors. The Manila - Da Nang direct flight route operated by AirAsia with a frequency of 4 flights/week, increasing the total number of flights between the two destinations to 21 flights/week, expanding the growth room in the coming time.
