On March 27, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that Da Nang will organize a series of events to open the 2026 sea tourism season for 9 days, from April 25 to May 3, at Bien Dong Park, Son Tra peninsula and Phuoc My, My An, My Khe, Nguyen Tat Thanh beaches.
The opening ceremony took place at 5 pm on April 25th at Bien Dong Park with art and music activities, opening a series of summer experiences. Throughout the event, many activities such as art check-in, kite performances, and nighttime music programs were continuously organized in the coastal area.
Highlights of the program are new activities such as the International Pizza Festival, experience making ice cream from rice, Beach Water Fight on April 30 and Son Tra Walking Day on May 1.
In addition, sports - sea experience activities such as flyboarding, jetski, parasailing, sailboats are organized on the opening day. The "Da Nang Summer Wave Surfing 2026" sea swimming tournament takes place on the morning of April 27; International Sea Rescue Contest is held on two days, April 29-30.
The program also includes community activities such as "Da Nang Sea - Saying No to Plastic Waste" (April 26), "Vietnamese Flavor" culinary space, beer space and activities for families and children throughout the time it takes place.
In addition, the "Kỳ vương Xứ Quảng" Chess Tournament is held in Son Tra peninsula for two days, May 1-2, contributing to diversifying experiences for tourists.
The series of events is expected to create a highlight to attract tourists, promoting the image of dynamic and attractive Da Nang beach tourism in the summer of 2026.
