On March 25, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches officially launched a long-term campaign to protect the marine environment with the event of Da Nang Green - Inland Sea Festival. The event attracted more than 300 students and volunteer clubs in the city, marking the beginning of a series of large-scale and sustainable marine environmental protection activities.
The focus of the campaign is to raise public awareness, change the habit of using plastic bags and plastic waste, encourage people and tourists to choose environmentally friendly products. Not only stopping at individual events, the campaign aims to create lasting changes in the behavior of people and tourists when coming to Da Nang.

The highlight of the launching ceremony is the signing ceremony of cooperation between the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches and the Viet Nhat Education System. The two sides are committed to implementing the model "Sea needs you, you need the sea" along with many other practical activities such as organizing workshops, seminars, painting exhibitions, the model "Sharing garbage for gifts", creative competitions, sports activities, and mobilizing volunteers to participate in cleaning the beach. The campaign will also be promoted on social networking channels and websites, to widely spread the message of marine environmental protection to the community.
With close cooperation between the government, businesses, organizations and people, this campaign promises to bring positive changes, contributing to building Da Nang into a green, clean, beautiful and sustainable coastal city.
