According to Mr. Thanh, the number of visitors increases during the tourist season, so ensuring security and order in the business area is also very important.
Bidding Son Tra night market
The Da Nang City Land Fund Development Center has just announced the short-term lease of two land plots A2.4 and A2.5 on the road leading to Dragon Bridge to organize a new Son Tra night market in An Hai Nam ward, Son Tra district. The land has a total area of 3,811m2 and is leased for 36 months.
The starting rental price is 261,680 VND/m2/year for land plot A2.4 (2,202.7 m2) and 273,680 VND/m2/year for land plot A2.5 (1,608.3 m2).
Da Nang City also requires investors to have financial capacity and experience in managing night markets, and at the same time commits to arranging business locations for 190 traders currently operating at the old Son Tra night market.
These traders have signed contracts with DHTC Da Nang Joint Stock Company. The winning investor must deposit 10% of the land lease value and deploy the night market according to the approved plan. The time to receive land lease registration documents is from March 18 to April 16.
The new Son Tra night market is expected to be an attractive destination for tourists with a scale of 250 booths, selling a variety of items from cuisine, fine arts, souvenirs to fashion and local goods.
According to statistics, the number of visitors to Son Tra night market for sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment is an average of 5,000 - 8,000 per day. During the peak tourist season (before the COVID-19 pandemic), each day of this night market welcomed 12,000 - 15,000 visitors.
