On February 20, the People's Council of Da Nang City passed a Resolution on the policy of free admission to the Sphinx Scenic Landscape Site and museums in the area (Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, Da Nang Museum, Cham Sculpture Museum).
In particular, the regulation on not collecting fees is to support and facilitate people and tourists to visit the new Da Nang Museum ( failure 42 - 44 Bach Dang and 31 Tran Phu) while waiting for the issuance of a Resolution regulating the new fee collection level.
According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the number of tourists to the city has grown steadily in recent years, contributing significantly to the local economy. However, to maintain growth momentum and compete with other destinations, the city needs breakthrough stimulus policies.
Free admission is considered a strategic solution, aiming to attract domestic and international tourists, especially during major holidays. This policy not only helps increase the number of visitors but also encourages tourists to stay longer, experience more deeply the culture, history and people of Da Nang.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City also believes that this policy contributes to strengthening the image of the friendly and hospitable Da Nang City. At the same time, strongly promote the Da Nang tourism brand in 2025 - the year of the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation.
In addition to increasing the number of visitors, the free admission is also expected to stimulate consumption in supporting sectors such as food, shopping, transportation, etc., creating a positive spillover effect for the economy. Da Nang also hopes that this policy will promote regional tourism linkages, attracting tourists to the Central region.
