According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, the tourism industry is continuing to promote the image of destinations in Japan. Notably, at the Tabihaku Umeda Osaka Tourism Exhibition 2026, one of the major tourism and aviation connection events in the Kansai region, Japan.
At the exhibition, Da Nang introduced the message "Touching the Original", emphasizing the unique cultural, natural and local experiences.

The difference of Da Nang lies in its ability to meet many tourism needs in the same journey, from sea resorts, golf, heritage exploration, craft village experiences to enjoying local cuisine.
The expansion of tourism development space after merging with Quang Nam has created more advantages for the city when it owns a rich chain of tourism resources, connecting the coastal city, world heritage sites, ecological zones and unique cultural destinations of the Central region.
According to data from Vietnam Airlines in Japan, the number of bookings on direct routes connecting Japan and Da Nang is recording strong growth compared to the same period last year.
In which, the Kansai (Osaka) - Da Nang route increased by 116%, and from July 1 to October 24, the Osaka/Kansai - Da Nang route will increase to 5 flights/week compared to currently 4 flights/week, reflecting the increasing demand of Japanese tourists for Da Nang and Central Vietnam destinations.
Besides Osaka, air routes connecting Da Nang with Tokyo (Narita) and Nagoya are also maintaining positive growth momentum, contributing to promoting tourism, trade and cultural exchange between the two countries. The Tokyo/Narita - Da Nang route will increase flight frequency from 7 round-trips/week to 11 round-trips/week.

Kansai area - the venue for the Tabihaku Umeda Osaka Tourism Exhibition 2026 is currently one of the largest economic, cultural and tourist centers in Japan, and also a source market with great potential for Da Nang tourism.
