The city owns many beautiful beaches, a favorable climate in the summer, and is also the gateway connecting famous heritages of the Central region such as Hoi An, My Son and Hue.
In recent years, Da Nang has been continuously honored by international tourism organizations, from Condé Nast Traveler, Michelin Guide to World Travel Awards. Not only developing resort tourism, the city also makes its mark with cultural, culinary, event and sea sports tourism products.

The attractiveness of the destination is also reflected in tourism growth figures. According to Da Nang City People's Committee, in May 2026, accommodation establishments in the area served about 1.78 million visitors, an increase of nearly 29% compared to the same period last year. Of which, international visitors reached 872,000, an increase of more than 31%.
Accumulated in the first 5 months of 2026, the total number of overnight visitors is estimated at 7.74 million, an increase of 20.9% compared to the same period in 2025. International visitors reached more than 4.18 million, an increase of 23.6%.
Along with the strong increase in the number of visitors, revenue from accommodation and catering services in May reached about 6,066 billion VND, an increase of 27.5% compared to the same period last year. In general, in the first 5 months of the year, revenue from this sector reached nearly 25,965 billion VND, an increase of 20.1%.
Da Nang currently continues to maintain its position as one of the leading tourist centers in the country, while affirming its increasing competitiveness on the Asian regional tourism map.
