Da Nang increases attraction with Korean tourists with a series of new products

Da Nang deploys a series of promotion activities in Korea, introducing new products and demand stimulus policies to attract tourists during Chuseok 2026.

From June 28 - July 4, Da Nang tourism industry will implement a series of tourism promotion and advertising activities in Korea to strengthen connectivity and expand tourism cooperation in Seoul, Daegu and Busan (Korea) while introducing new tourism products and promotion programs to attract tourists towards the Chuseok 2026 tourism season.

The first highlight of the program is the Gala Accompanying Tourism Promotion of Da Nang in Korea, taking place on the afternoon of June 29, 2026 at Lotte City Hotel Seoul.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Korea Vu Ho highly appreciated Da Nang's proactive organization of a series of promotional activities in the current context. According to him, Korea has been Da Nang's largest international tourist market for many consecutive years, and activities in Seoul and Daegu, along with the signing of cooperation agreements with Busan Tourism Authority, will contribute to promoting aviation connectivity, visitor exchange and tourism product development between the two sides.

Mr. Van Ba Son - Deputy Director of Da Nang City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that Korea continues to be a key market for the city's tourism. Da Nang will continue to innovate products, improve service quality and accompany businesses to increase the attractiveness of the destination.

At the gala, Da Nang introduced many new products suitable for Korean tourists such as sea resorts, golf, MICE, wedding tourism, health care, cuisine and international festivals and events taking place year-round. The city also announced a stimulus policy package specifically for this market.

Accordingly, from July 1 - December 31, Da Nang International Terminal reduces 20% of check-in service fees for all airlines operating international routes to Da Nang. On the occasion of Chuseok Tet 2026, the tourism industry and businesses will implement many preferential programs on accommodation, spa, golf, cuisine and welcome gifts for Korean tourists.

In the first 5 months of 2026, Da Nang welcomed more than 7.74 million visitors, an increase of more than 20% compared to the same period last year. Of which, Korean visitors reached more than 950,000, continuing to be the city's largest international visitor market.
