Da Nang launches Da Nang incentives to attract KOLs and KOCs from support from air tickets, 5-star hotels to special gifts to increase tourism recognition on social networks.

On December 7, information from the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Da Nang said that the Department has just issued a Plan to implement a program to attract KOLs, KOCs and content creators to experience and promote the city in the period of 2025-2026.

The plan aims to enhance destination identification, diversify the tourist market and promote digital communication, in line with the orientation of Da Nang tourism development in the period of 2025-2030.

According to the plan, the city will apply many support policies for three groups of KOLs and KOCs including air tickets, 4-5 star accommodation, 3-5 day tours, support for accompanying teams, souvenirs and communication incentive packages.

Special cases can be considered for flexible policies. Participating KOLs and KOCs must post reviews, stories, short videos and have campaign hashtags attached, and agree to allow Da Nang to use images to serve tourism communication for a period of 6 months.

The program also established a "Become Danang's KOL/KOC" scoring model, allowing content creators with a certain number of followers to register, accumulate points from post interaction and exchange incentives such as accommodation vouchers, sightseeing tickets, gifts, and opportunities to be invited to the city's event.

In addition, Da Nang calls on tourism businesses to accompany through service support, backgrounds, incentives and communication coordination. Trade back businesses that are communicated on official channels, appear in KOL and KOC products and are invited to participate in domestic and foreign tourism promotion activities.

Regarding the process and plan, it is clearly regulated how to receive, appraise, approve and organize the reception of KOL and KOC delegations - both in cases of active registration and cases invited by the city. Communication work is synchronously deployed on digital platforms, newspapers, television, combined with promotional events and coordination with airlines, airports, and tourism businesses.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the agency in charge, coordinating with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the City Police, the Department of Industry and Trade, local People's Committees and many tourism industry units to ensure effective implementation of the program in the two years 2025-2026.
