On November 22, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang announced that Quang Ninh province and Da Nang city have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism development cooperation within the framework of Vietnam Travel Day 2025.

The signing is aimed at strengthening regional linkages, effectively exploiting the potential and advantages of each locality, and at the same time opening a new phase of linkage between the two leading tourism centers of the Central and Northern regions.
This is a step to continue the series of exchange activities, connecting businesses and sharing experiences in destination management that the two localities have effectively implemented in the past time, while laying the foundation to expand cooperation more strongly in the coming time.
According to the agreement, Quang Ninh and Da Nang will strengthen communication coordination, promote the image of destinations in target markets; support businesses in building inter-regional products, especially tourism routes connecting heritages - islands; organize large-scale joint promotional programs; thereby creating a boost for two-way traffic and enhancing the position of each locality on the Vietnam and international tourism map.

The signing ceremony is a key activity in the Quang Ninh Tourism Promotion and Introduction Program organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province, within the framework of the event to celebrate Vietnam Travel Day 2025 (November 20-23, 2025).
The event was coordinated by the Vietnam Tourism Association, the Quang Ninh Tourism Association and related units, attracting nearly 400 delegates from international tourism promotion agencies, tourism industry leaders and domestic and foreign travel businesses.
Vietnam Travel Day 2025 is organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association in coordination with the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for the first time in Quang Ninh province. The opening ceremony took place on November 21, 2025, marking one of the largest-scale trade promotion (B2B) activities of the tourism industry in 2025, creating an important driving force for the year-end tourism season.
This year's event recorded the participation of about 520 domestic and foreign tourism units. Notably, there are 120 international travel businesses from key Asian markets, along with 200 buyers and nearly 200 domestic service providers such as hotels, resorts, golf courses, airlines... creating an in-depth trade forum, promoting connections and expanding cooperation networks.
