With its pristine, majestic beauty and extremely rare and diverse ecosystem, Con Dao Special Zone (HCMC) in general and Con Dao National Park in particular always attract a large number of tourists to visit, experience, and explore.
However, in recent times, the trend of hunting for photos of the Milky Way and checking in at dangerous terrains at night is on the rise. These activities often pose some unsafe risks, especially in precarious and dangerous areas.
Therefore, Con Dao National Park recommends that tourists should not move to areas with steep cliffs, big waves, and slippery skies at night to avoid the risk of unfortunate incidents, especially places such as Shark's Neck, Bird's Neck, and Boat's Neck. You should move in groups, fully equipped with lighting equipment and follow the instructions of local functional forces.
In addition, during the exploration process, sometimes some tourists do not understand clearly, leading to unintentional acts of encroachment, affecting the natural environment in the area. These acts in some cases will affect the tourist's experience trip, and at the same time bear sanctions according to legal regulations.
Therefore, Con Dao National Park proposes that tourists join hands to implement responsible tourism culture, grasp and not commit 10 prohibited acts in Con Dao National Park: encroaching, exploiting, and hunting forest animals illegally; exploiting, persecuting, and destroying forest plants; illegally trading and transporting forest animals and plants; causing damage to forests, land and landscapes; illegal fishing and exploitation of aquatic products; taking and destroying corals and marine life; disturbing and harassing wild animals; littering, causing environmental pollution; organizing illegal tourism activities; other acts violating the law on forest, sea and biodiversity protection.
With the above warnings, it is hoped that tourists will have an attractive experience trip, bring back beautiful photos and say no to violations. When violations are detected, or support is needed, they can contact the hotline of Con Dao National Park.
