Because Tan Son Nhat T3 Terminal is located separately from Terminal T1 and T2, passengers coming to the airport need to pay attention to changes in traffic routes.

Tan Son Nhat T3 Terminal will be inaugurated on the morning of April 19, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

All domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines (except for flights to/from Con Dao, Ca Mau and Rach Gia) will be transferred to operation at Terminal T3 from the end of April.

After that, Vietjet Air also plans to transfer all domestic flight operations to Terminal T3.

To ensure a convenient journey, passengers are recommended to carefully check the information of the station departing on tickets, find out the T3 station diagram, arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before flight hours and prioritize the use of online check-in forms on the website, mobile applications or at self-service kiosk at the airport.

T3 Passenger Terminal has a total floor area of up to 112,500m2 including 1 basement and 4 upper floors, arranged scientifically and modernly with 90 traditional check-in counters, 20 automatic luggage clearance counters and 42 check-in kiosks.

Here is a guide to move to the new T3 terminal at Tan Son Nhat airport.

Passengers traveling from Terminal T1 and T2 can go straight to Truong Son Street → Phan Thuc Duyen Street → Tran Quoc Hoan Connecting Road → Terminal T3.

Or, passengers go straight to Truong Son → Hau Giang Street → Thang Long Street → Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa Linking Road → Terminal T3.

For passengers traveling from the center of Ho Chi Minh City according to the route: Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street → Nguyen Van Troi Street → Hoang Van Thu Park → running left, entering Hoang Van Thu underpass and going straight to the road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan → Terminal T3.

In the East of Ho Chi Minh City, passengers travel along Pham Van Dong Street → Truong Son Street → Tran Quoc Hoan Station T3 Street.

In the West and South of Ho Chi Minh City, passengers travel from An Suong or Tan Ky Tan Quy direction → Cong Hoa street → Tran Quoc Hoan station → T3 station.

In the direction of Truong Chinh Street, passengers go to Cong Hoa Street → Hoang Hoa Tham Street expanded → the road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan → Terminal T3.

Or, passengers can go to Cong Hoa Street → turn onto 18E Street → the road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa → Station T3.

In addition, to travel from Terminal T1, T2 to Terminal T3, passengers can travel by technology car, taxi or shuttle bus arranged by Tan Son Nhat International Airport, an average of 20 minutes/trip.
