On September 17, the Office of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province said that the locality is participating in a series of events to summarize and sign the Agreement on socio-economic development cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities in the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta.
The conference is an opportunity for localities to reassess the results of cooperation in the 2023-2025 period, thereby agreeing on key contents for the 2026-2030 period. Dong Thap identifies priorities to focus on areas that can create specific results, especially connecting investment, trade, tourism and expanding consumption markets. In which, the outstanding goal is to bring OCOP specialties and strong agricultural products closer to consumers in Ho Chi Minh City.
Within the framework of the program, from September 17 to the morning of September 18, Dong Thap organizes an exhibition area to introduce OCOP products, industrial - commercial products and typical goods of the province. This activity is expected to create leverage to help businesses, cooperatives and OCOP entities access distributors in Ho Chi Minh City - a major consumer center.
Right in the afternoon of September 17, Dong Thap suppliers will enter a direct trade connection session with major distribution systems. On the same day, the delegation also attended the Investment Connection Conference to seek more strategic cooperation opportunities.
Notably, this promotion trip has the participation of many "leading" enterprises in the field of agricultural and aquatic product processing and production such as: Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company, Bich Chi Food Joint Stock Company, Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Hung Ca Co., Ltd., I.D.I Multinational Investment and Development Joint Stock Company... along with representatives of Sen and Mango industry associations... The companionship of leading enterprises is an important highlight, contributing to affirming supply capacity and strengthening closed connection from raw material areas, processing to consumption stages.
