According to the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, the 2nd Flower - Ornamental plants Festival is expected to take place from December 27, 2025 to January 4, 2026 (from November 8, 2025 to November 16, 2025 lunar calendar), a provincial-level festival.
This festival is expected to have 05 communication and promotion activities; 19 main activities and 13 response activities, notably registering to set a Vietnamese record for "Giant flower baskets and flower carpets - ornamental plants gathering the largest number of ornamental flowers at the same time".
For the 2025 Dat Sen Marathon - Dong Thap, the scale of about 12,000 athletes, including 05 competition distances: 42 km; 21 km; 10 km (including 02 events: movement system and advanced system "ChampionShip"); 05 km and 800 m (for children).
The event will take place from October 10 to 12, 2025, with the opening ceremony at 6:00 p.m. on October 11, 2025 at Van Mieu Square, Cao Lanh Ward. To date, more than 4,000 athletes have registered to participate.
