Preparing for this year's festival, Mr. Doan Huu Nhieu - owner of the Western Lodge tourist destination (Tan Phu Dong commune, Sa Dec city), said that to create a new highlight to welcome visitors, he used nearly 20,000 flower baskets to decorate the miniatures. Among them, there are new miniatures that appear for the first time such as: a giant peacock model made of fresh flowers, a road of green apricot flowers, a waterfall of 12 zodiac animals...
In particular, the sunflower, cosmos, and hydrangea fields are being processed to bloom, along with the vineyards that are laden with fruit, promising to bring visitors interesting experiences.
"We must always innovate to welcome tourists, otherwise the old miniatures will easily become boring," Nhieu shared.
Responding to the festival, Mr. Pham Van Nhut in Khanh Hoa hamlet, Tan Khanh Dong commune also invested in a new tourist spot with an area of nearly 3 hectares. Although it has only been in operation since the end of December 2024, it has created great attraction for many tourists. The highlight of this tourist spot is the bougainvillea house designed from a 13m high bird's nest house with 2,000 bougainvillea pots and many miniature landscapes and experiential services imbued with the countryside.
According to the Department of Culture and Information of Sa Dec City, the city currently has 23 tourist areas, spots and homestays. The special thing is that the tourist areas have discussed and exploited diverse but non-overlapping tourism products, thereby creating a colorful picture for tourism in Sa Dec.
Along with the preparation work of tourist areas, the People's Committee of Sa Dec City has also directed the sectors and localities to strengthen the urban beautification work, prepare the steps and program contents of the festival to best serve the people and tourists when coming to Sa Dec City.
Ms. Vo Thi Binh - Vice Chairman of Sa Dec City People's Committee - added: "The city has directed the relevant departments to conduct strict inspections, especially tourist attractions, accommodation and food service establishments must list prices, not allowing the situation of overcharging tourists or suddenly increasing prices. At the same time, the city has also directed the city police to deploy solutions to ensure security and order before, during and after the festival, focusing on service work to create a good impression in the hearts of tourists."
