MINH ANH |

Weather Forecast today 9/26, low pressure trough is active causing rain in the South, beware of rising river floods.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, under the influence of the northern edge of the low pressure trough with an axis through the North Central region combined with the southwestern edge of the continental high pressure that has strengthened after stabilization, the mountainous and midland areas of the North have no rain, sunny days, light winds; the highlands have cold nights and mornings; the highlands have cold weather.

In the South, it is forecasted that in the next few hours, thunderstorms will develop causing rain. Rainfall is generally from 10-20 mm, in some places over 30 mm. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind level 5-8. Heavy rain can cause localized flooding.

Thua Thien Hue province has had moderate to heavy rain such as: Binh Tien 50.8mm, Huong Binh 30mm... Soil moisture model shows that some areas in the above province are nearly saturated (over 85%) or have reached saturation. There is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in the above province, especially in the districts: A Luoi, Nam Dong, Phong Dien, Phu Loc, Huong Thuy Town, Huong Tra Town.

The water level on the Dong Nai River at Ta Lai is changing slowly. It is necessary to be on guard against the possibility of heavy rain combined with floods causing inundation, landslides on river banks, streams, and low-lying areas in Tan Phu and Dinh Quan districts of Dong Nai province and neighboring areas.
