From the afternoon of September 2-3, the Central Highlands and the South will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 30-70mm, locally over 100mm, rain concentrated in the afternoon and night.
From the night of September 3, heavy rain tends to decrease to light rain, moderate rain, and locally heavy rain until about September 6 in the Central Highlands and the South, concentrated in the afternoon and evening. People and tourists need to be on guard against heavy rain and localized heavy rain that can cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.
In addition, in the evening and night of September 2, the Central region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, locally over 50mm. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
