Within the framework of the Da Nang Food Tour 2026 Festival, on the afternoon of May 20, the culinary parade "Da Nang Taste" took place in the My Khe beach area and coastal tourist streets of Da Nang.
This is considered one of the most prominent and new activities of this year's festival season, bringing a creative approach in promoting local culinary culture by bringing the image of street vendors, cheers and the rhythm of everyday life into the modern festival space.
Not simply a parade program, "Da Nang Taste" is built as a vibrant cultural experience journey, where people and tourists can directly immerse themselves in the street food atmosphere of Quang land.
In the sunset by My Khe beach, more than 70 street vendors carried goods on the sand, passing through the crowd with familiar cheers, recreating the rustic images that have been associated with the memories of many generations of Central Vietnamese people.
The special feature of the program lies in the combination of art parades and outdoor interactive culinary experiences - a very new model in tourism and culinary festivals in Vietnam today.
The program brings together many groups carrying unique themes such as: Carrying Memories, Ganh Huong Que, Ganh Pho Bien, Ganh Non Xanh, Ganh Ba Mien, Ganh Nam Chau, Ganh Cool - Sweet, Ganh Bring Back...
From Quang noodles, cao lau, banh xeo, seafood, Quang mountain and forest specialties to Japanese sushi, Mexican tacos or Italian pizza, each "taste" is a separate cultural slice, contributing to creating a journey of intersection between local cuisine, Vietnamese regions and international culinary quintessence.
Another impressive highlight of the program is the cyclo parade on the coastal tourist streets of Da Nang.
The cyclos are decorated with food carrying poles moving through many central streets, combined with characteristic sounds and cheers, creating a vibrant "cultural flow" in the modern coastal city.
Through the "Da Nang Taste" culinary parade activity, the city wishes to honor the culinary cultural values of Quang region in a close, creative and experiential way; and at the same time continue to promote the image of Da Nang as an attractive festival, event and culinary destination of the region.
Da Nang Food Tour 2026 is an annual city-level culinary and tourism cultural event, taking place from May 20 to May 24, 2026 at Bien Dong Park, Tam Thanh beach square and many locations in the city with a series of diverse, creative and experiential activities.
