Recorded on the morning of May 1st, most tourist areas and attractions in Da Lat were packed with people and tourists coming to have fun and holidays.

At locations such as Da Lat Flower Garden, Valley of Love, Dream Hill, Tuyen Lam Lake, Lang Farm Center, Puppy Farm and Xuan Huong Lake area... the number of visitors flocking here is crowded, bustling with visitors and resorts.

Due to the excessive number of visitors, at many times some tourist areas and attractions fell into a state of overload and had to temporarily stop picking up visitors to ensure safety.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien (tourist from Gia Lai) said that in the morning of the same day, his family of 12 people planned to visit 5 tourist attractions in Da Lat.

However, up to now, the family has only visited 2 locations, Da Lat Flower Garden and Lang Farm Center. The remaining locations are too crowded with visitors, so they cannot visit yet," Mr. Kien said.

At noon on May 1st, many traffic junctions in Da Lat's inner city such as the Da Lat Flower Garden area, Ba Thang Tu street, Da Lat University intersection, Valley of Love and Xuan Huong Lake area... began to become crowded with vehicles.

Recorded earlier from the evening of April 30, tens of thousands of people and tourists gathered at Da Lat night market to have fun and shop, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere during the holidays.
On the morning of April 30, records showed that the number of vehicles from southern provinces and cities poured into Da Lat to relax and have fun during the 4-day holiday.

On National Highway 20, in the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat, vehicles line up moving slowly, with an average speed of only about 40 - 50km/h.
In particular, the section from Gia Hiep commune to Duc Trong commune area, about 40km long, often experiences congestion, at times localized congestion due to increased traffic volume.
The cause was determined to be that National Highway 20 in this area is further connected to National Highway 28B and National Highway 28.
Meanwhile, National Highway 28B has just been upgraded, so people and tourists choose to move from the direction of the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway to Da Lat.
When arriving at Ninh Gia commune area, vehicles entering National Highway 20 caused traffic overload.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) said that due to the hot weather, she and her friend chose to come to Da Lat to rest and enjoy the cool air.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang (traveler from Dong Nai) said that the temporary closure of Lien Khuong Airport caused most tourists to travel by road, putting great pressure on traffic infrastructure.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tiep - Head of the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police said that the unit has mobilized 100% of its personnel, organized patrols and controls on national highways.

The unit also arranges 24/24h checkpoints at hotspots to ensure safety, traffic regulation, and serve people and tourists during the holidays.
