On the afternoon of April 30, Binh Thuan Maritime Port Authority said that during the day there were 7 high-speed ferry trips transporting about 2,400 tourists from Phan Thiet to Phu Quy Island (Lam Dong province).
Currently, the Phan Thiet - Phu Quy passenger transport route and vice versa have 5 high-speed trains operating. During the peak of the holiday, the 2 Superdong trains increased the frequency to 4 trips to the island, contributing to meeting the increasing travel demand of tourists.

According to the train schedule, on May 1st and May 2nd, this route continues to maintain 7 trips/day. Most trips are fully booked from early morning.
This year's holiday is long, coinciding with the time when Phu Quy island enters its most beautiful season. Favorable weather, calm sea, beautiful sunshine, clear blue water make the island a destination attracting tourists from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Hanoi...

Despite the sudden increase in the number of passengers, regulation at Phan Thiet transport port is ensured. Ticket control, passenger guidance and boarding organization are strictly implemented by functional forces, limiting congestion.

The large number of visitors leads to a sharp increase in accommodation demand. Currently, Phu Quy island has about 70 accommodation establishments including hotels, guesthouses and nearly 100 homestays. During the holidays, most establishments reach maximum capacity.
Mr. Do Minh Chuc - Vice Chairman of Phu Quy Special Economic Zone People's Committee said that many hotels and guesthouses were fully booked throughout the holiday.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ngo Minh Pho - Head of Phu Quy Special Economic Zone Tourism Association, Owner of Roman Phu Quy Resort said that many establishments have been fully booked since the beginning of April.

Not only accommodation, other services on the island are also operating at full capacity. Motorbike rental services are almost no longer empty. Restaurants and seafood eateries are increasing personnel and preparing goods to serve a large number of customers during peak days.
