On June 13, Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that health care tourism is becoming a rapid development trend in the world as the needs of tourists are not only limited to sightseeing and relaxation but also towards health care, physical recovery and improving the quality of life.
According to Mr. Minh, Lam Dong has many advantages to develop this type thanks to owning a diverse tourism ecosystem with a combination of plateau space and sea.

In which, the Mui Ne - Tien Thanh sea area is assessed to have a lot of potential to form high-quality resort tourism products associated with health care, functional rehabilitation, sports tourism and services for middle and elderly people.
Lam Dong province not only aims to increase the number of visitors but also focuses on improving the quality of destinations, extending stays and increasing tourist spending. Healthcare tourism is identified as one of the fields with the potential to create high added value thanks to the combination of natural resources, living environment and modern service systems.
In recent years, many hotel, resort, resort villa, golf course, entertainment area, sea square and service projects have been invested in coastal areas. This infrastructure system contributes to enhancing the attractiveness of destinations, creating jobs for people and promoting the development of the local tourism service industry.
Citing this, Mr. Minh said that the Health Care Center at NovaWorld Phan Thiet in Tien Thanh beach area is being implemented with the professional companionship of Ho Chi Minh City University Medical Center Hospital, which will add high-quality medical services to the resort ecosystem, contributing to completing the health tourism model in the coastal city.

The project is expected to be put into operation from 2027, providing health screening services, specialist examinations, remote consultation, tests, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal care and proactive health management.
This is considered a new driving force to help the Mui Ne - Tien Thanh area develop into a resort tourism center combined with health care, improve the competitiveness of destinations and make positive contributions to the socio-economic growth of the province in the coming time.
