Of which, international tourists reached 70 (an increase of 17% over 2023).
Total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at nearly 100 billion VND (up 15% over the same period in 2023). Of which, the number of guests staying is estimated at 10,400; the average room occupancy rate is about 52%.
Previously, to prepare for the holiday, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien directed to prepare well the conditions to serve tourists at historical sites and tourist attractions; organize many cultural activities and events in Dien Bien Phu City and other localities to serve the people and tourists.
