Lam Dong - In nearly the first 6 months of 2026, Lam Dong tourism recorded impressive growth with nearly 12 million visitors, revenue of over 33,310 billion VND.

Lam Dong's tourism industry is experiencing a period of positive growth when welcoming more than 11.995 million visitors in nearly the first 6 months of 2026, an increase of 18.08% compared to the same period last year.

In which, the number of international visitors increased by 18.6%, showing the increasing attractiveness of the destination possessing a unique combination of highlands, islands, indigenous culture and diverse nature.

Along with the strong increase in the number of visitors, revenue from tourism activities reached more than 33,310 billion VND, an increase of over 22% compared to the same period in 2025. This result reflects the effectiveness of promotional programs, stimulus and innovation in the local approach to tourists.

Although Lien Khuong Airport is temporarily closed for repairs, the tourism industry still proactively expands road tours, inter-regional tours and organizes field survey programs for travel businesses and press agencies to introduce new tourism products.

Not only promoting in the traditional way, the locality also strengthens the application of digital technology in tourism. QR code systems are deployed at many destinations to help tourists easily look up information, search for services and plan more convenient experiences.

Tourism businesses in the area also actively participate in stimulus programs by building package products, connecting many destinations in the same journey.

This trend helps tourists optimize costs and have more diverse experiences from blue sea, hills, craft villages to indigenous cultural discovery activities.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province said that the province aims to welcome more than 25 million tourists in 2026, so the tourism industry is focusing on improving quality and expanding the market.
