On September 2nd, the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that during the 5-day National Day holiday (from August 29th to September 2nd), the whole province is estimated to welcome about 680,000 visitors, an increase of about 15% compared to the same period in 2025. Total tourism revenue is estimated to reach 1,410 billion VND.
The number of visitors to Lam Dong was concentrated from August 29 to September 1. The average room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments reached about 65-70%; especially the 3-5 star hotel group reached 80-85%.
During the peak days from August 30 to September 1, many accommodation establishments in the province achieved 100% room occupancy rate.
According to the tourism industry, the above results are contributed by Lam Dong organizing many cultural and tourism activities during the holidays.
Notably, Lien Khuong airport resumed operations before the holidays, contributing to strengthening connectivity and creating favorable conditions for tourists to visit the locality.
During the holiday, tourism activities in the province took place safely and effectively. The work of ensuring security and order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation and food safety in tourist areas and attractions was emphasized.
Prices of tourism services, especially accommodation, are basically stable. Functional sectors do not record the situation of price gouging and soliciting customers causing frustration.
Although the weather in some areas is rainy and chilly, the number of tourists to attractions is still maintained at a high level.
Localities, units and tourism businesses have proactively prepared facilities and human resources, improved service quality, contributing to creating a positive image for tourists.
The results during the National Day holiday continue to show the attractiveness of Lam Dong tourism, and at the same time create motivation for the local tourism industry to strive to complete the set goals in the last months of 2026.
